Carrie Yerty resigns from Memphis to accept head coaching position at Wyoming.

MEMPHIS, TENN. - Carrie Yerty, who served the last 12 seasons as the head coach for the Memphis volleyball program and compiled an overall record of 233-174, has resigned effective immediately and was announced this evening as the new head coach for the University of Wyoming.

"I would certainly like to thank Coach Yerty for all that she has done for our volleyball program," said Athletic Director R.C. Johnson. "Over the past 12 years, she has developed the Tiger program into one of the most competitive volleyball programs in Conference USA and we wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors."

April Jauregui will serve as the interim head coach and a search committee will be formed immediately to find a new head coach for the Tigers.
