Irving, Texas - Memphis junior Rachel Larson has been named to the 2008 Conference USA All-Academic Team, the league office announced Friday. It is the second such honor for Larson as she was also named to the All-Academic Team in 2007.

Larson, majoring in history, currently boasts a cumulative GPA of 3.54 has been named to the Dean' List three times during her tenure at the U of M. She has also been a member of the Tiger 3.0 and Tiger Academic 30. The Colorado Native has twice been named to the C-USA Academic Honor Roll.

On the course, Larson has 11 career Top-20 finishes to her credit. She was an All-C-USA third-team selection last season and a key member of the Tiger's 2007 C-USA Championship team that qualified for the NCAA Regionals.

Larson and her teammates will be in action at the 2008 Conference USA Women's Golf Championship held April 14-16. This year's 54-hole event is being hosted by UTEP at the Butterfield Trail Golf Club in El Paso, Texas.
