Darrell Smith Class: Freshman Position: Manager Experience: First Season

Darrell Smith begins his first season as a manager with the University of Memphis baseball team.

As a team manager, Smith will join Marx in handling the day-to-day demands and equipment needs of the U of M players and coaches. Smith will also aid in field maintenance duties as well.

A freshman graphic design major, Smith is a native of Long Beach, Calif. The son of Rosa and Mack Dean, Smith is a graduate of Cordova High School. He has six siblings--four sisters and two brothers.
