Outlook for 2008: Diligent, versatile infielder set to hit somewhere in the middle of the Tiger lineup and be an everyday leftside defender. Got most of his junior college experience at shortstop so coaches worked him extensively at third base in the fall. Coaches love his desire, work ethic and passion for the game.
At Pensacola JC: Had a solid two-year juco career for Head Coach Bill Hamilton at Pensacola Junior College...Tallied 51 RBI, 21 stolen bases, 24 doubles and six homers...2006: Helped PJC to a 31-20 mark...Hit .301 with 18 RBI and 12 doubles as a sophomore at PJC...Knocked a pair of homers...Showed his speed on the base paths with 15 stolen bases in 19 attempts...2005: Thrived in his rookie season at Pensacola Junior College hitting .305 with four home runs, 12 doubles, two triples, and 33 RBI while leading the Pirates to a 29-22 finish.
Summer 2006: Made a name for himself in the prestigious Valley Baseball League...Hit .331 in 35 games for the league champion Luray Wranglers...Was second on the team only to former Tiger standout Adam Amar...Launched seven home runs and drew 15 walks, while recording a .423 on-base percentage.
Prep: Won just one letter for Head Coach Greg Blackmon on a very deep team at J.M. Tate High School...Hit .351 his senior season and helped the Aggies to a 27-4 record and a final four appearance in the state tournament in his final year.
